There’s A New War On Our Planet
There is a new war happening on our planet. It’s not the only one, it won’t be the last but that doesn’t matter. It’s not an incursion. It’s not a Special Military Operation. It is a war! It is not the first nor will it be the last.
How we process wars depends on many different things. Who we are, where we are, if we’ve been in war, if we’ve been directly affected by war and many more. One of the most important though is whether we 1- Give a Damn and 2- are willing to focus in on THE Facts and THE Truth as opposed to Your Facts and Truth.
As a kid I remember actually seeing the Vietnam war happening not only in the newspapers and magazines but on our TV screens in ways we had never known. Both the facts and propaganda have grown exponentially with every conflict and war since. Here’s what I’d hope you take from what’s happening in the world.
No matter where in the world you are, this war will affect you.
People will die. Men, women, children will all die. They all had family, hopes and dreams. They will die.
Anyone who purports to have all the answers, doesn’t.
This war and the reporting of it can and in some cases will cause those with PTSD to relapse or retreat within themselves (This affects all of us in one way or another. I will attach a special message at the end of this.)
All across the world there are men and women who are working on this war. Some are working to wage it! Others are working to stop it. Others are doing their best to ignore it.
If it seems like the reasons behind this war don’t make sense, you’re probably right. If there is a call to action from me right now, it’s just this… In whatever way you feel most comfortable with, remember those who are in the line of fire and their families some of them wear a military uniform, some of them you might never imagine are involved in the war effort, some are there because that’s simply where they were born and live and some are there reporting on this newest war. It doesn’t matter if it’s the network you like or watch, all of the people have families and future plans and hopes and dreams. There will, always be dictators and despots who are quite willing to lie and kill in order to fill their black hearts with power. There will always be those who choose to do their best to stop them, or die trying. Our lives change by the instant. In the past few instants, we’ve slipped into a much more dangerous and different world. Do your best to show others the light within you. Now is a time when so many others might need it to find their way through a dark time.
Be safe
Peace
…..Gregg
