You don’t defeat the whole problem at once. The way to defeat a problem is by dismantling it piece by piece. Little by little. Allow yourself to walk inside of it, look around it, become familiar with it and find out what the real problem is. Once you’re there, the rest of the stuff that’s all around you doesn’t/shouldn’t matter. What matters is whatever that problem in front of you is. For instance, if you walk into a room and there’s a snarling dog, are you more afraid of the dog or all the things that you imagine the dog might do to you? Odds are, it’s the second. The same thing goes for any problem. They are great at manufacturing stuff that isn’t real, but you’d swear it is! What if, what could be, if you don’t do this, will they do this… Well, that’s not focusing on the real problem is it? That’s you imagining what MIGHT happen. The problem is whatever the problem is. The problem is the bullseye.
The problem is that snarling dog I talked about earlier. So if you’re in that same room with the dog, don’t look all around the room and wonder about all the bad stuff that might happen. Instead, look at the dog and determine what’s gonna happen and how you can make the best out of this situation. Sometimes it means backing away. Sometimes it’s moving forward. Sometimes it takes getting down on their level and so on. Sometimes it takes you apologizing. Bottom line is, make sure that you allow yourself to walk within the problem to be surrounded by the problem, find it and then figure out how to defeat it! Then DEFEAT it!!!
